Las Vegas Convention Center

Everyone knows about the reasons for spending time in the resort town of Las Vegas. There is the gambling, of course, the up market hotels, the shows and the wedding chapels. However, the town also caters for the business world and the Las Vegas Convention Center is an important part of the local economy. It is one of the largest convention centers in the world and is conveniently located next to the Hilton hotel. In fact, the two buildings are connected via a Skywalk Bridge. The center can also be reached on the monorail.

Demand has grown for business facilities and the Las Vegas Convention Center has been expanded over the years. The excellent amenities are suitable for hosting trade shows, meetings and conventions of varying size. There are 144 meeting rooms, ranging from rooms with a seating capacity of 20 to 2,500. The center can supply the meeting space that best suits the needs of the company involved. The Exhibition Halls number 16 and have air conditioning. They are very flexible in catering for every kind of use, as the walls are movable. From a small board meeting to a lavish banquet, this is the venue to run things smoothly.

Parking is more than adequate with more than 5,200 spaces. There are entries and exits from the building, suitable for the physically challenged. The Las Vegas Convention Center has been designed to be user friendly and that's why companies return to use its facilities. Every requirement has been anticipated and integrated into the design. There are Audio Recording Rooms available and five locations in the building have free wireless Internet access. Businesses can also make use of local, cable and closed circuit TV. When looking to book space at the center, there are information brochures, lists of services, rate sheets, and maps to study.

The number of people passing through the building each day necessitates the need for good catering and the Las Vegas Convention Center provides good food in comfortable surroundings. In addition to restaurants, there are concession stands, portable snack bars and two Starbucks Cafes. The Banners Restaurant in the Grand Lobby has seating for approximately 700 people and the International Food Market Restaurant in the South Hall seats 650. Of course, users of the center can enjoy all the entertainment on offer in the resort and mix business with pleasure. There are plenty of diversions when the serious work of the business day is done.
