Discount Lion King Musical Tickets

Having two young children at home sometimes poses a problem when deciding which types of activities to get involved in when they have a little extra time on their hands. One usually wants to do one thing while the other is looking at going in a completely different direction. As a result, I'm always on the look out for fun and interesting things that I know both of my children will enjoy. For example, one of the activities that I've managed to get both of them excited about is going to see a performance of The Lion King musical. They love watching the original film (and the sequel) on DVD, so I figured they would get a kick out of seeing it in a different type of venue.

The only potential obstacle to my plan would be finding The Lion King musical in our area. Of course, there's no way we'd be able to swing a trip to New York to catch The Lion King musical on Broadway, so I was prepared to wait for the national tour to make a stop in our city. I didn't notice any performance listings in the local newspaper, but I obviously wasn't going to give up that easily.

I took my search for Lion King musical tickets online, and was soon rewarded with a plethora of websites that offer discount tickets for just about any event I could think of. Not only was I able to find great tickets quickly and easily, but I was also able to make my purchase right there on the website without having to leave my chair or even pick up my phone. That sure beats schlepping around town or scrambling to the box office hoping to get Lion King musical tickets on the night of the performance!

While I was looking for my tickets, I came across several sites that provided valuable information concerning different Lion King musical events that are happening all over the globe. That's a great resource for families that are planning to go out of town for a vacation or holiday. You can always look up the area on the Internet to see if there are any Lion King musical performances going on at your destination, and perhaps add this special event to your itinerary.

When I told my kids how I was planning on taking them to this show, they both got very excited at the prospect of seeing Simba, Mufasa, Timon, Pumbaa, and the rest of their favorites up close and in person. The tour won't come through our city for several weeks yet -- but I don't mind because I'm sure my kids will be on their best behavior until then!
